CBEAR Mark Masters Selected NACD Secretary-Treasurer Elect

Mark Masters, the Center for Behavioral & Experimental Agri-Environmental Research Director of Outreach, has been elcted as the National Association for Conservation District's Secretary-Treasurer.

CBEAR is proud to announce that our Director of Outreach, Mark Masters, is the new National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD) Secretary-Treasurer elect.  Mark is a longtime member of the Georgia Association of Conservation Districts and the second person from Georgia to hold an officer position with NACD. 

 

In his new role, Mark is expected to oversee the organization’s policy administration.  Along with his current leadership as Director of the Georgia Water Planning and Policy Center at Albany State University he will also continue at the helm of our outreach efforts.  A Leading expert in agricultural water use in the Southeast region of the US, Mark has led numerous research and outreach projects related to water resources and is well-renowned for his extensive work in water sustainability.

 

NACD is a nonprofit organization representing over 3,000 conservation districts across the United States. This year’s NACD conference took place in New Orleans and had over 1,000 participants.
